SE Compensator

just dumped the stock compensator and installed the new SE one. made several problems go away. launches off the line better too

first of all, the primary is a lot quieter. no backlash on decel, NO starter kick out.

Seems like I have starter kick out. If starter kick out is when you try to start the bike and the starter does not stay engaged till the bike starts. HD seems to think all is well but this has been going on for the last year or so.  I am I right on what starter kick out is? Billy

you are correct, but your dealer will not upgrade under warranty, they will say the stock ones are working fine. thats why the 2011's have the new SE compensators, go figure. and I have full access to the info

as long as they can get the moco to "good will" it, or the dealer eat it. they still supply the older style for replacement

Larry, I had mine warrantied with the SE Comp from the MOCO according to my dealer. Reason being "kick back". Receipt says SE Comp as replacement.
