Snowing in Texas
« on: January 09, 2011, 03:40:16 PM »

It snowed here at the cabin today.  Nothing to do here but grab a beverage, watch some football and stare at this....

We have been getting it for about three hours now, started as freezing rain, have 3-4 inches of snow at this time.  About an hour ago, I decided to shut my plant down for the day tomorrow, not worth anyone getting hurt.  Alabama has no way of dealing with this time of stuff.

Hope everyone stays safe.

Georgia DOT is out there but the local streets are a joke.
4WD and Chains (if needed) today.

Was in Paris KY for Christmas...they KNOW how to keep the roads clear. Even WAY out in the country. Our farm is 18 miles out and even the smallest little road, Stringtown Pike was pre-treated and clear.

The picture is from 12/24/2010
