My best advise would be to go to the dealer and get some Deutsch connectors. You can set it up so you have a water tight connector at the fairing for easy removal. They come in different pin configurations so you'll have to plan ahead to figure out how many wires you'll need. Tap into the factory harness using solder and heat shrink your connections.
