Sorry Zipper's
« on: April 08, 2006, 01:33:11 PM »

I ordered the 575 TC Red Shifts on March 13 through the local dealer who deals with Zipper's. As of yesterday, no cams. The service manager called and was told they might be ready next week. Sorry, the SE catalog gets the nod this time probably 211s. Oh well.

Your money your choice. But, have you been reading all the information about purchasing these cams in this forum? Zippers has been taking advance orders, and offering members to this forum a discount. I have spoken to Zippers on Thursday, and Friday and the cams are in. They are being shipped to members of this forum as soon as they can get them in boxes, and shipped (in the order that they were placed). I'm not trying to discourage or change your mind, just wanted to let you know of status of the cams (they actually are in earlier then Zippers had anticipated).

BigTime,

Even if your considering going with another cam are you sure you want the 211 cam it comes in awfully late at approx 3500 to 5500.  These are heavy bikes and I would consider the 204 / 251 the 251 is similiar to the Zippers 575 cam if your staying chain drive and not going gear drive.

A bike this heavy doesnt run so well with the 211's i have done it and replaced them with the 251.
