I did the custom dynamic replacements, quick and easy.  I got tired of the other crappy bulbs.  Very happy with these, very bright and drastically increased my daytime as well as night visiability.

I had blown bulbs.  I noticed they where blown when the officer that pulled me over pointed it out to me, thus the reason I was pulled over. IMO blown rear bulbs are a big safety issue and worth the installation of LEDs.

;)   Talk about a justification for spending more to modify a CVO, that one should work with any wife.  Good job!

The only thing about all this that really bothers me is that once again H-D gets a free ride on p-poor quality.  There is no reason why regular bulbs shouldn't last for years; I've had regular old bulbs last for as much as a decade in various vehicles over the years, including motorcycles.  If the bulbs in these bikes can't even make a few months, there is something radically wrong either in the bulbs or in the electrical system.

Replaced one of the rears twice so far and yes is a safety issue for sure. I agree with you Jerry, P-POOR and they get another free ride.

The bulbs on my Wife's 2010 kept blowing out, and the techs discovered a pinched wire in the rear assembly.

My first day home with the bike, my right rear bulb was out. So, far, for a year - they have been fine.
