CD/Radio quit working.
« on: August 07, 2013, 10:59:45 AM »

I have a Deadcenter fairing on my FLHRSEI2. It just quit working. I checked all of the conections, all the fuses, everything I know to do with no remedies. When I put a cd in, the backlight lights up and the cd icon appears like it is playing. No sound whatsoever. I even hooked up a new speaker just to make sure that both weren't blown out. I read somewhere about a reset button but can't find one. Jensen MP6312 player...Polk MM651 speakers...Titan 75 watt amp. The amp gets warm after awhile so I don't think it is that. I used a tester on every connection and they all check good. I'm about to give up. HELP!!! Thanks.

have you bypassed the amp and put the speakers direct to the head unit

OK. So over the weekend I again worked on my cd player. Bypassed the amp as suggested hoping that would help. No different than before . It lights up but no sound.  Took the dash panel off and found one connection that was loose. Fixed that but the same results. Replaced all fuses just to be sure. Still won't work. Frustrated.
