I guess I should have made a grand announcment. I just logged back in and my PM mailbox was full. So here it is:
I've known for months that this project is for sale. I also knew that I'm at the top of the pay scale and so I'd be the first one that the new owners would replace to cut budget....no secreat there. It happened and I started looking all over Nor Cal. Just nothing shaking loose up here and so I contacted the company that I've worked for the past four years and asked them if they need a supervisor anywhere else in the country.
Yep....we need a couple Supv. in Denver. Denver? Where the average low is 18F two months out of the year?
I'm a California home grown....to me it's cold when it's below 50F!
Ohh....wait just a minute.....we're buying a new project in (on?) Coronado, Calif. and it'll be a full renovation....we want it to become one of our flagship properties. Coronado you say? I mean life's rough but I think I can handle that.....what about housing. Oh, it'll include a two bedroom, two bath apt. also and it sits literally right on the bay! So, I fly down tomorrow after work to check it out.
But you should all know I've got half of my garage packed already.
Terrie and I.....we haven't made a grand announcment and some of you already know. But since so many of you know her also...might as well let you know. We've seperated and been living as room mates for a couple months. It's sane and mutual so we've been able to do this. We've filed for divorce and she'll stay at the house and I'll go. It's turned out about as well as it could in a situation like this.
