Post by: 9 1/2 Beers on August 27, 2009, 09:21:35 AM
Every work day I say "It's to damn early" then I realize I am lucky to be alive to see this out my window :2vrolijk_21:

I stay pretty busy with two businesses. First I'm the GM of Iceland Sports Complex a dual surface ice skating rink, and second we own a Mobile Pet Grooming Business called Doggie D'Tails Mobile Pet Grooming. Oh my favorite job is riding my bikes.  :mango: :pepper: :orange: :mango: :pepper: :orange: :mango:

I used to do the same thing in CT. We owned a rink & arcade there. I'm still in the arcade business (and a few others ;D).

Well Hard10 the rink business has not gotten any easier in fact it still F#&%ing sucks. The hot temps here keeps us on our toes just to keep the ice up. There are times we have a scheduled ride with our HOG Chapter and then all hell breaks loose. And if I hear one more time that they witch they could drive the Zam I'm going to kill them. And the BITCHING, from the figure skaters, and the hockey guys and they all ask why is ice so high but when your electric bill is over 10k a month there's why. So not I know why your out.  :2vrolijk_21:

Even some of the event staff likes to get in on the fun.

It has been a great career for over 28 years. I have tried to retire once, but my boss wouldn't have it. The time is soon approaching though. It now gets harder to chase the "ROOKIES" into a burning building. This is definitely a young mans job!

It's not the view from my office, but it is only 1 block away. I take a lot of lunch breaks here, very relaxing until the tourist have to feed the seagulls. I wish they would poop on the ones that feed them.  ;D  :soapbox:

What's the address of your beach club? Google maps has some pretty high def maps of Izmir. Could probably see a satellite shot of your club & if your bike is out, that yellow should show up.

Hey Mike - we're not allowed to let the kids try on the helmets anymore - might hurt their necks and we'll get sued.

So instead we let them have these lame plastic "New Yorkers"

Duane it was my stepson. Both the boys wear my old and spare helmets all of the time. That one got retired 2 years back when I got promoted. I sure do miss it. It fit like a glove!

I am on my last hitch in the Gulf of Mexico on a Deep Water Spar oil rig.  I have been working a 14/14 roataion for the last four years here.  I will be going to a new build Drill Ship in Korea for the next few months on a 28/28 rotation until it comes to the Gulf around June, then it will be 21/21.
