Where's Maverick88 ?????

Some of the older members of this site may remember my friend Maverick88 (aka Tom, aka The Beamer Slayer).  Tom and I have been friends and riding buddies for years.  He was at the first three Maggie Valley gatherings but not the 07 gathering. 

About six months ago he just about completely quit riding.  At first I didn't guite understand why, but after recieving an email from him today with the attached pic, now I know!

Tommy,  Thanks for the Tom - Maverick88 - Update.  Great Picture.  Please pass on to him our kindest and warmest thoughts.  We sure missed him (and a few others) at the MV GTG this year.  Great picture, can see the love all the way to here.  Congratulations on finding Miss Right.  Sure hope she learns to love riding BSR behind Tom on the bike though, cause we'd hate to loose a riding buddy.

I was just thinking about him this week, I am glad he is well and happy but tell him we still want him to ride. I remember he tryed keeping us all together when we rode he was a nice guy.

Trust that photo is more recent than the date on it suggests?

I traded a few PMs with Tom a monthr or so ago.  He was planning on taking her to the smokies the following weekend . . . . by car :o.  He had just purchased a Zumo and wanted my Maggie Valley 2007 Garmin routes.  She looks quite beautiful and it looks like they had great weather while they were there.

Now that she's seen the region by cage, she needs to take it to the next level and see it from the back of the Low Rider!  I've really missed him at the last few gatherings and hope he'll get back on the bike so we can see him again and meet his new friend!  He's just "one of them guys" that are too cool for words and just a real joy to be around! :2vrolijk_21:

Yep, date is wrong.  True date is 10/19, 20 or 21 of 07.  Not sure what day they were at the Gap.
