not an expert but looks good to me!! :2vrolijk_21: how does the gel feel in comparing stock seating?

So far, the gel feels good, but I just got my seat back on Saturday and I've only put about 50 miles on the seat.  I'll have to take a much longer ride to see if there is any difference, since the seat was already pretty comfortable for me.  My BSR said she could feel the difference immediately.

Yes, it's the stock seat recovered.  Areas of foam were cut out to place the gel pads in place without changing seat height or having uneven seating areas.  Then a thin layer of foam on top of the gel pads and then the heating pads put back into place on top of the thin layer of foam.

I'd like to, but she's gotten herself stuck working Saturday's and we've only been able to get out for early evening Saturday rides and Sundays.  The only long ride we've been able to make was a trip to Louisville last month.  If we find a way to get out that way, I'll give you a call.

The seat looks great the only issue I can see with it is you put on one of those red bikes now if it was on one of the really fast green ones welll .................................

I think it looks awesome, but what do the real critics have to say?   :nixweiss:

I think you should have Consulted Twolane first. He has a palate for the Color RED like none other. I feel it should of had more POP.

Brad, can you translate that into English for me?  I have no idea what you are trying to say.

I was in Erie last week for Roar on the Shore, but I was only there for a quick stop and had to get back home or I would have called while I was in town.  Nice event though.

Love brown & tan leather on red. Even into the burgandy family. Looks rich. The croc is a nice touch too! Very well done. And, by the way, the only critique that really matters is yours.

Well........  I had the same impression Brad did.  Saw the and first thought was wanted to see pics with the bike not in the shade.

I like it.  A lot.  But I think I'd like it better if the tan colors were a few shades lighter to contrast more with the dark red.  To give it more "pop!"

Out of the shade in good light it might just have more pop though.  So solely based on my own feeble eyes it is very sweet with the potential to cause diabetes in good light.

I thought it was a compliment! You so creatively designed the seat on the RED Roadglide. I thought you could help fix design flaws in Dave's Seat design.  :P

Looks good but I agree with the tan/parchment being a good option. Sure is a knock out bike color and layout but then red is one of my favorite colors. Heck I like a lot of the different colors if they're done right. The black SEUC is another favorite.

I do like it but, leather colors and paint colors are a risky venture. Black is black but browns and reds are another story. Perception of color match and beauty are subjective.

Is the surface texture and suppleness of the leather such that the gel can be appreciated?
