I know there were only 999 built but how do they hold value compared to other CVO ultras? Also are these still hard to find. Thanks
-
I believe only 992 hit the streets :coolblue:
-
Not easy to find, but I doubt they hold their value any more than any other CVO......

I've seen 2/3 for sale, and the asking prices were no higher then the other colors!
If they were, it was less then $1000.

I sold my 2010.5 and it kept it price. Rec'd pretty much what I had paid for it; although it had a few things added. Engine work, exhaust, Dyno, etc.
I think all the older ones will keep their value because of the limited number of them. They seem to be producing a lot more this year than previously, maybe because they now put them together in the same building as the others (Mass production). I know the store here in Mobile has had 3 of the yellow one's like mine they have ordered and sold. I think that will hurt future values. :(

It IS special! I LOVE my bike! Have not seen an Ultra Classic yet that I would trade if for!! It's currently one of the bikes you can vote for as "Bagger of the Month" on Baggerlife.com. If you get a chance, please drop by there and vote for it!

Doode, I voted for for your Bike and looks like your in the lead. I agree these bikes are special. Thanks for your replies.
-
Just voted. Up to 341 and in the lead. Great bike!
-
Hey Bill......I love that black bike :coolblue:
-
I wish I could predict the future but I think any Harley done like this is great. I purchase a 1977 XLCR new, a 1980 FXB new, and a 1991 FXDB new. There is nothing better than a blacked out Harley. You have a keeper and I expect it will be in demand in the future.
-
I love mine too. If you really love this black bike, I will let you come over and clean it for me ;D

It might hold a better value than the others if the mileage is kept down. When you pile on the mileage, any bike will not hold its value. I have 32K miles on mine.

No point owning a bike you don't ride.
Let everyone else enjoy looking at it. But, most importantly enjoy riding it!!!

Actually the Black & Crimson was the highest color production that year. 010 FLHTCUSE5
Burnt Amber/Hot Citrus 794
Scarlet Red Pearl/Dark Slate 747
Riptide Blue/Titanium Dust 569
Crimson Mist Black/Dark Slate 992
-
My dealer just took one of their new FLHTCUSE and had it painted this color.

Yeah....but none of the other CVO Ultras were BLACK! It also looks like a fair number of those bikes ended up overseas.
