Dyno
« on: December 27, 2006, 08:35:28 PM »

Ok . I like the sound of the OEM pipes  so can I gain anything by changeing to a different air filter and putting a power camander and then dyno the bike. i saw on another dyno that the air mixture was very high before the dyno was done wiht pipes and air cleaner.Don't really want to change pipes and I am happpy with the power just would like to know if the bike would run any smoother or cooler with the Dyno?

Hey Billy, Go to the Intake/Exhaust section. All your answers are probably in the current thread. You'll find plenty other discussions as well. ;) Hoist!  8-)

Billy;
The bikes run very lean from the factory due to EPA regs. A free flowing AC and a PCIII, Race tuner or other fuel management device can be used to get the AF mixture richened up. The bike will run better and cooler
