Has anyone investigated upgrading their '10 SESG stereo to 2011 or 2012 specs? What's the cost? Lots of labor?

You can replicate the 2012 SESG3 audio using this kit:

You'll need to separately purchase vented lowers if you don't already have them, as well as the compatible saddlebag lids to accommodate the lid mounted speakers and paint to match. Given the issues with the amp used in the SESG2, I'd choose an alternative in-fairing 2 or 4 channel amp to the one HD uses.

If you want to replicate the SESG2, i.e. speakers in the vented lowers, very simple and easy to do: buy a pair of CVO speaker boxes, access the rear speaker pinouts of your HK radio, wire up a pair of 6.5" speakers, and have the dealer turn on the fader function of the HK. And have the speaker boxes painted to match the fairing lowers.
