I got an idea , will ceramic coating solve this problem ?I mean ceramic coating for the paint . Car Pro or similar ??
  I am feeling really frustrated hearing about these problems while i wait for my HC bike !

So it looks like you were right Wild Hog.  The last laugh is on all the nay sayers.

I've seen it go both ways for the CVOs in the past......some rumors prove to be true but many fall flat on their face.  I just take the "wait and see" attitude instead of posting without knowing.

No but seriously guys I only posted this "rumour" about new colour because I saw the actual email from HD  head office for Europe,and a confirmed delivery date....... I am a strong believer in seeing is believing!..... Now had he had just verbally said it, then yes I would have taken it with a large pinch of salt! And not posted anything (I wouldn't want to get people's hopes up,or dash their dreams either)Too much hearsay sometimes  like you say.....

You were 1/2 right!  There was a new color....but not orange and not the same paint scheme!

i don't know Nicky, thats the only thing thats confusing me, as my dealer was adamant it was an orange colour with the carbon dust,{i never commented on the graphics being the same though!} who knows there may be 2 colours!, i'm sure we will find out in the next 2 weeks or so, i will check with my dealer again tomorow to see if there's been an update.

I am a fan of "black" bikes but ya need some chrome. The black motor is just too much black. Love the 2011/2012 tank badge.

Now only if they would drop a 120 in the CVO SG.

Has anyone heard whats going to happen with us guys that have bikes ordered.
Will we get the bike we ordered, or will we be offered the Black bike as a replacement ? 
We have all waited months now what ?  i still have no word from my dealer.

I suppose its back to what used to be! get on a list wait a year and take whatever color shows up.

Dealer mate John just called me.
All Phase four bikes will be delivered May / June for Australia, this is the last run of the Gunslinger bikes being built now, the Phase five bike the back bike is June / July for Australia.
Looks like we will get the bike we ordered, i am happy again for the moment  with all this paint trouble i would hope the Phase four bikes will be perfect.

The 2015 CVO SG is starting to remind me of the 2011 CVO SG. Both are first year production with fancy paint and stereo's. With the 2011 we found out that the amps where garbage which where causing speakers and tweeters to go. Also they had issues with the green paint. They got it right in 2012. Don't recall too many post for the 2012's. Now the 2015's are here and paint and stereo threads are popping up again.

Maybe the 2016's or second year production is the way to go. Might be worth the wait to avoid the problems.

Glad I took delivery of the first hard rock bike dealer received....paint is great!  Now have to decide if I will keep it if an orange one is offered for 2016!.  Good luck with your future bikes Spook

I feel ignorant for asking, but here goes: What models and years are Gunslinger paint? My 2014 CVO Road King looks great.
