Has anyone seen anyone making soft lowers for the CVO Road Glides, or other bikes riding with the chopped engine guard? I've been wanting to get one or make one to see the affects it has on air flow. Now the CVO's have the side fairing louvers, which would affect how the soft lowers are mounted somewhat.
I see elgidegoodiescom kinda has something (not great pics or description). Anyone else find anything?

I bought the EGlides one last night. See what it's like. In all honesty, for $170 it feels way overpriced for what it is. See how it goes soon.

I'd be interested to see how that turns out, post pics when you get them on. $179 does seem steep for soft lowers.

Did you get the glide soft lowers installed yet?

I just got a notification that the lowers were shipping out Saturday or Monday. So hopefully have them by end of the week.

I've only got 640 miles on the bike and about 200 with the lowers on. Have not had a chance to ride in the rain, hard or light. So I can't comment on that. With these on at least my leg pant doesn't blow up or roll up. Seems to reduce the wind up to about calf high. I ordered them and had them use black snap buttons instead of chrome, so that was a few extra days for that, but at least it matches the bike theme fairly well. I'll probably keep leaving them on here. I should have a decent length trip next weekend, so I might pull them off for a bit to see how much of a difference it is on the same day. Sorry took so long. Just haven't been out on the bike much yet.

Now I posted pictures and now nobody cares lol?

Thanks for the pics. I may invest in a pair. What's the inside backing material like? Do you think constant use will take the gloss off your engine guard?

Take one side off during a ride and see how much the wind affects your foot placement. Once I went with lower fairings, I wont ride without them.

That's a good question. I don't think it is a soft material backing. I'll have to look.

I have no need to. I'm good.
After having fairing lowers on the previous 2 bikes, it's tough for me to compromise on this one. Lowers are definitely nice to have.

Good info...thanks.
