Docking hardware change?

   I tried to put my passenger backrest off of my 2016 cvo Street Glide on my son's 2012 cvo Road glide but it doesn't seem to fit. Does anyone know if there was a change in the mounting hardware between those years. Thanks in advance.

Yup.  They tweaked the frame design a little in '14.

'98-'08, '09 to '13 and '14 & up.

This is it, they are slightly different
