I have talked to Brad about their setup. I have made the decision that this is the way to go but i am a bit concerned about the clearance issue. [smiley=nervous.gif] Can someone who has done this post a pic of the "clearanced" pipe and the shield that shows the grinding?

Thanks

I had the same problem when I installed the Reinhart exhaust on my bike, instead of reworking the pipe I installed a EZ lever brake lever. It looks like the billit HD lever but moves the pedal forward. Worked great DelNel  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

No thats the good thing about a power commander just unplug it and they will never know it was on the bike.

Most dealers will have no problem with warranty, unless it's directly related to something you did.

I just got off the phone with service guy at HD dealer.  I told him about Freedom pipes and the dyno #s.  He even logged on to this site while we were on the phone.  He said those #s(103hp and 104tq) seem high.  He said the torque was reachable but didn't believe the jump in horsepower.  Just wondering if anyones got a dynosheet to post.  I'm seriously considering this setup, I wonder if Freedom cycles garauntees these #s.  I'm not trying to stir the pot, just trying to get the best setup for my bike.  I believe this is the best way to go.

I ordered my Freedom pipes on Monday.  Hopefully they are here sometime this weekend.  If I get them this weekend I'll head to Doc's HD and have them put them on and get the dyno going.  I'll post pics and dyno sheet or numbers asap.

Just a little advice for you guys ordering the Freedon Cycle package, with their pipes and their dyno download to the powercommander....

Don't mess with the PC
Don't let your dyno guy mess with the PC.

Brad Yuill is as good a tuner as you will find anywhere...Don't believe me?

Ask your dyno guy how many NHRA championship races he has won and how many
NHRA cars he built.

I don't mean so sound like an ass...but I've known the Yuill brothers for lots of years and I've seen alot of others try to tune a Power Commander. Ask Magoo... he's been to Freedom.

At the very least... save the map that's in the PC... It's what you paid for...then if the bike runs worse later you can restore it.

For you guys who are doubtful of the 103hp, 104 tq numbers... don't be... Freedom's dyno has recorded many, many configurations of 103's but every bike dynos stock within a couple of hpIf your dyno guy's or ft lbs. of what harley 's dyno says, including mine.

If your dyno guy can't get these number's...he's just not as good a tuner as Brad!!!!

My advice...buy the package and enjoy the bike...I won't get any better.
