When yall are talking about turns are talking 1 complete revolution or reference mark the instructions show? Let me see if I can scan the instructions.

One revolution.  The reference mark is not finite enough for the proper adjustment.  The only way to get both sides the same is to start with the ring to the full counter-clockwise position and then count turns.

P.S.  Did you do anything with the Progressives while you were waiting for your bike that you need to show us a photo of? [smiley=laugh.gif]

I want to order some Progressives for my 05 SEEG and want to retain the factory lowered height.  Someone previously suggested purchasing the 12" and another said the 12.5" will retain the original lowered height.  Can someone tell me which one I should buy?

12" are the stock length, I have this size and am very happy with them.

12.0" is stock for the SEEG, however, some have reported seeing no visible difference in ride height with the 12.5".  I'm using the 12.0" HD and am very, very happy with them.  The bike actually sits ever so slightly higher in the rear even with the 12.0's, so, IMHO, if you are concerned about maintaining the stock height (like I was) you should go with those.  You may get a somewhat better ride out of the 0.5" taller shocks, but I can't believe it can get a whole lot better than the 12.0's and they would almost certainly raise the bike up more.

Agree that the 12.0's rock...keeps the stock height and the ride is great.  Went with the Standard Duty version as I usually ride solo and weigh somewhere around 170...that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. [smiley=laugh.gif]

[smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]Thank you for making me aware of the 440's.  The only thing I didn't like about my SEEG was the ride.  The 440's cured that -- no more gritting my teeth when I see big bumps coming.  I am approx 200 lbs at 2 turns -- what have you found to be the best tire pressure settings for a single rider?  Are you losing any handling with the softer ride?  The improvement is better than I hoped for.

This is great information!!! Coming from a Fatboy and this being the first bagger I've ever ridden. I was inclined to believe that I was getiting a comfortable ride w/stock shocks. But now I have been enlightened I will definately add these shocks to my wish list. I know the wife will be happy to make the ride more comfortable, the "wedgie" seat that the MoCo used for a passenger seat on the '04's leaves a lot to be desired on a long haul. It is great for looks, but lacks comfort, and you know what they say.. "When Momma isn't happy [smiley=veryangry.gif], nobody is happy [smiley=veryangry2.gif]". I had been looking at getting another seat for comfort, but if new shocks can make everyone more comfortable and retain the sleek lines that I like so much about the bike this may be the way to go. From what I'm gathering from this thread and considering my dimensions (250+/- LBS) and majority of my riding is solo I think I should get the 12.5" HD. Would this be correct? Thanks
