Steve,
It's hard to really answer the topic here without seeing the bike, but I can say for sure, the 05 SEEG seat has the all time most uncomfortable seat H-D ever made. The stock seat's gotta go for sure. Engine wise, I don't know what it's got for mods, but if it's bone stock, changing the intake, exhaust and tuner is well worth the money in performance gained and smiles per mile.  Once that's completed, I think you'll find you'll be quite happy with the 103 and the 5-speed trans. I see no reason to spend the money to swap out the trans on this to a 6-speed. Suspension is a personal thing. You might be very happy with the stock air shocks on the rear and the front end the way it is although coming off the Magnum, I have to believe you're going to spend some time getting used to the " Harley Ride " Progressive fork springs help a lot and cost a fraction of what the Traxion Dynamics front end change out costs so that bears looking into if you want to stiffen up your front end some. That's it from me. The beauty in owning a Harley-Davidson is in making it your own. Changing this here, that there till it doesn't look like someone else's and has a personal feel to it. You've bought one of if not the best model CVO bagger ever made, so you're most of the way home already.

I agree with you assessment of the SEEG's. I love my 04  :pumpkin:. With a few mods Steve you will have a very enjoyable ride for many years. My 04 only has roll your own air cleaner, Stage one download and D&D Fat Cat. It is very enjoyable to ride. I have not changed the seat as of yet. I can handle the stock seat for now. After all the complaints about Corbin's present day comfort and fitments issues I'm looking at all the options.

I believe the engine to be stock.  There is some additional chrome but beyond that, it has what it left York with.

Congrats Steve on your purchase!

The Bannana maybe the best color depending on which you own, but is definitely not the fastest color.

/and so it continues!

Well I believe Harry is trying to stir things up a bit, so it sounds like I
will have to educate him on which color is the fastest.

We all know that banana peels are very slippery and the outside of
the peel is very smooth. So the banana bikes will cut through the
wind better because of less drag ( being slippery and smoother
than the other color ). So all things being equal the banana bikes
will ALWAYS be faster. PERIOD.

Well that is the end of the lesson, class dismissed. :bananarock: :bananarock:

Yes Don, your RED bike is faster than mine but I did post that
all things being EQUAL and your engine is in no way equal to mine.

Call me crazy but I don't think the color of the bike has anything to do with how fast it will go.

I believe it has more to do with the skills of the rider  :2vrolijk_21:

So there for the fastest color will always be the one I am on......(humble aren't I 8))

Just don't forget to bring a camera and have it in someone's hand when you make first contact.  Whether you post it or not it's got to a picture worth having.
