Hey there Guys,

I rode bike to dealer today so they could check out my peeling chrome on the front wheel. Well I feel like an idiot :-[ What I thought was peeling chrome was actually super glue :-[ They mounted new tires on my bike before I picked it up. When they balance wheels,
they sometimes use superglue to make sure weights don't fall off. Well, it was old glue from the previous weights. It may sound like a foolish mistake on my part, but it was crystal clear bubbles like the chrome was lifting up. When they first looked at it they thought it was peeling also. But after further review...it wasn't :). I changed my vote accordingly. They also said they would've given me instore credit @ msrp of oem wheels towards any factory or aftermarket wheels I wanted. So if they can do that, any dealer should be able to do the same if they wanted to.

but kinda bummed 'cause I had a great set of 18" wheels already picked out.

What would the choice have been?   [smiley=worthless.gif]

Mark,
I've been wanting to do a build to mine, but I figured to hold on it for this year, and maybe set it up for the winter time. I think I'll try to get my old wrench thinking on it.
Well I went to my dealer this morning, and took my new truck for a test ride for about 80 miles. I think things will work out but only time will tell that tale. For the moment everything is way up in the air with the change-over going on, lots of confusion, I did make sure that my store credits are still intact. Plenty of new faces and thank god a few old friends still there! The test ride went great, with all the work gone into the built-ins for my work space, nothing moved out of place and no noises.
Times to ride are here!!!
Mark [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Ok Twolane. I'll give you the info

Some of those (ok, just about all of those) are very cool Mark.  While I did save the link to drool over occasionally I won't be doing it anytime soon though.  Hell, it'd take months just to figure out which one you liked best.  Given the "Screamin' Eagle" bikes though that Eaglez wheel would never be a bad choice.

Thanks for the eye candy  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I just noticed my floor boards. Driver & passenger has little specs bubbling up along the rubber inserts. I assume it's just gonna get worse. My warranty runs out on June 15th. So I plan on getting that fixed along with the fuel gauge fogging issues & clutch (derby) cover peeling orange paint for the third time.

Noticed front and rear wheels peeling, took to dealer they got ok from HD to replace. I have option to get same style back or go with thunderstars. Which thunderstars would be best choice for replacement mirror chrome or regular. Any body have trouble with either one. Thanks
