The highest price thing I've ever bought there was a sweatshirt so I'm not the guy your looking for. But their customer service in motor clothes was good. The salemen on the floor have always greeted me nicely. And the one time I did talk shop with one of them he was direct and to the point with me on my trade-in. They didn't earn my business but they did try!  For what it's worth!  ;)

Gail is a friend of mine, yet I haven't bought any of my bikes from her.  The dealership is awesome and the service is great.  She can be a little pricy on bikes though.  What are you looking for?

Not sure yet.  Just wondering since I'm out of town.

I actually bought the first Super Glide from the dealership when Dr. Kline owned it in Belton.  Then Ray Worth bought it, who was Gails dad.  I've know Gail since she was quite young.  We actually did a photoshoot there with a world class bodybuilder for Harley Davidson many years ago.

I also bought a Buell there when it was Worth HD.  Unfortunately, I was told that Gails at one time, was one of the most expensive HD dealerships in the US.  In this economy, I don'tknow if she has adjusted her pricing and business model or not.

Have no idea what they're like for bike sales.  But within the local area that shop has a good reputation for the work they do.  I've gone up there for tire installs a few times when I was bored and wanted something to do and an excuse to ride there.  The dyno shop has a decent reputation also.

The shop does have one thing I really like.  A big glass window from the customer lounge looks down over the whole thing.  If you're so inclined you can watch your bike the whole time it's there.  No insecurities about showing the shop doing its thing.

 :2vrolijk_21:

A couple of tire changes ago, they quoted me a really good price on a Dunlop E-3 rear tire.
When I got there with my old tire and wheel, the service manager argued with me about the price, but eventually honored the quote. I went back after work and picked up the new tire and wheel and went home.

 :nixweiss:

Normally, I draw an arrow on the brake disc to indicate the direction of mounting, but I figured that they knew what
they were doing and I left it off.  Bad decision. I went to mount the wheel back on the bike, and I noticed that the tire was mounted backwards. >:(

On the plus side, I called the service manager and told him it was mounted wrong, and he said come on back and they would fix it. When I got there, the head tech was waiting for me at the service door, about 15 minutes after closing, remounted and balanced the tire and apologized for his tire guy.

I do like Gail, I have known her since she came to work for her dad, and I think that the dealership is a lot more than just a business to her.

I normally do not care for the glitz, glamor and fluff of the new style dealerships. I liked the old dark, greasy storefronts that I first started hanging out around 40 years ago, but that's just me.
