Unfortunately we never got quite enough support to be sure we could complete what we started with this.  Butfor those who will still like to see the contribution they had in mind go to the MDA you can donate directly at:

This is where the proceeds from the sale of the bike would have gone.  Although I didn't start this idea nor did I pick the charity, I do have to say that I strongly believe in the MDA.  We watched one of my son's friends go from walking to wheelchair confinement.  Last year we got to see some of the medications and therapies give him the ability to get back out of that chair and take a few steps.  Far from a cure, but certainly evidence that we're making a difference.

If you can't help out here, consider ebaying those parts or take that cash you pledged and give it to a charity in your area, or a national charity that's affected you or your family.  Thank you!

I drank Utah for 3 years. It's just a step or two above near beer. We used to make runs to Wyoming to buy
good beer. 8)
