Psychodeuce Happy New Year

I took my seat off to add the pager module to the factory alarm.
I recall it needs to be pulled on each side and lifted up and back - all at the same time.
Was tricky, but the first time I lifted seat off my 03 Heritage Softail, it too was hard.
Good luck and enjoy your ride.

It's certainly more difficult than the owners/maintenance manuals suggest. You know, you have that seat strap which I guess gets stretched over time, so you have to bend the seat a bit as you pull back to get the metal clamp to clear the tank while you hold your hand over it so you don't scratch the hell out of your tank. Now I gota do it again to install a harness for heated riding gear. I gotta keep up with JCZ!

Also, the seat was a pain to take off with the luggage rack there. Have to bend seat with much pressure to get off. Instructions didn't comment on if you had luggage rack.
