I investigated a crash last year... 16 year old with a probationary licence.

Father was so proud of his son getting his licence he bought a bike for him.

Son picked up a nice new 1100.

On arrival, I picked up his helmet... which still contained portions of his head.

He was going around a curve way too fast, met his fate with a guard rail. They aren’t too forgiving at 100 mph plus!

I wanted to show up at Dad's house with helmet in hand and ask him exactly what he was thinking.

Common sense prevailed.

What a waste, and a shame.
