Another attempt to the unknowing to drink the MoCo "Koolaid". Sorry... but IMO if they (MoCo) provide a dependable/unique product that will/would sell then this type of "hype" isn't needed... but WTF do I know. :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

think you might have stretched a bit to go negative on this thread.. Harley has the largest market share (almost 50%, every other manufacturer in the country that makes a large displacement bike share the other 50%) of any 2 or 4 wheeled vehicle in the USA. I have certainly had my share of problems but dont think the bikes being in a music video have much to do with that..

Katy Perry is popular among some young whippersnappers, an area that Harley could use a lot of help in as far as appeal. Am not a fan other than a bouncy .gif or 2 that have made the rounds of the internet, obviously not geared toward me or most of the people who post here.

HD claims all they provided was some bikes for the video, don't know, don't care. Hope they can attract younger riders, if not in a generation or less it will fade away.

This is a good example of the new marketing strategies of the day, known as influencer marketing. Will be interesting to see if there is a corresponding uptick in young and females joining the riding ranks.

We can hope it influences young females and males to to joining the ranks.
