HeHe!!! Oh, ya mean where the seat post is on my frame! Mine's bone stock specs Mike, not no Chopper specs. 30 deg rake, no stretch, no lift! NO ROOM!!! ??? :D ;)

No seat post. Lift, stretch, rake is irrelevant. It is UNDER the bike, UNDER the trans. There isn't anything under there but space.

Swing over to chopperweb.info and look around. There are as many Bobber projects there as there are CVO's here.  ;D

Under the Frame?? How far into the frame can you tuck it in underneath? I'd prefer not to have a battery below the frame line riding thru this potholed city! :nixweiss:

I'll look and see if I have a side shot of either of mine done this way. The battery is tucked up tight against the bottom of the trans plate. Since transmissions use studs I remove them and use bolts that I countersink into the bottom of the trans plate (Redneck did the frst one for me). The battery tray itself has holes in it and is bolted to the trans plate. I use standard Softail batteries from a Twin Cam.

Does it protrude below the frame at all that way? :confused5:

The short answer is NO it does not hang below the frame. My battery tray is dead nuts flush with the frame.

Measure a battery and than the distance from the bottom of your frame rails to the bottom of the trans mount.
