Ok
So if i understand this, we need to use the headset that COMES with the bike to use siri and carplay?
Mine will not attack to my helmet with the clamp device. Sometimes I like to ride without a helmet
Are there no other options to use siri and carplay?

You can also use the 2 sided tape. Apple play works amazing, total game changer IMO.

Hey
Are there any solutions without a helmet?

Hey Phreakyz
Well i aw that thread but there are a couple of issues for me.
there isnt a harley dealership for 3.5 hours from me. So that sortof raises an issue for me. More importantly I want to use the voice functionality not just a voice disabled carplay. Second question about that flash option is once you disable will the microphone not work for it anymore? On long rides i wear a helmet and would use it then.
As for the additional microphone, I have a 2019 CVO road glide. As i understand it from reading the ebay description found here (https://www.ebay.com/itm/THE-FREEDOM-MICROPHONE-A-WIRELESS-MICROPHONE-FOR-14-HARLEY-DAVIDSON-TOURING/273434034026?hash=item3fa9f03f6a:g:sG0AAOSw~OVWu76N) with a road glide i would have to install the communications wire and mount it somewhere to get it to work.

Until I get the need for the sena bypassed I just turn it on and throw it in my saddlebag. Just the unit needs to be powered up, not actually connected to the base.

Throw the activated Bluetooth headset module in your saddlebag.

Like others I just turn on the Bluetooth headset and drop it into the saddle bag. No need to talk to anyone while riding.
