Title: Vance & Hines Big Radius 2 into 1 questions
Post by: wizgee on June 17, 2010, 12:17:14 AM
I'm considering changing my V&H 2-2 to the 2-1. According to the V&H website the big radius 2 into 1 "will not fit on the FXDSE without removing rear passenger peg."
It seems to me that I've seen quite a few Dyna's with these pipes, and it looked like all of the bikes still had the rear pegs in what appeared to be the normal mounting position.
So anybody with these pipes... What gives?
Have any challenges with the install?
What kind of power after dyno with a race tuner?

Not sure on dyna's but on my SE springer I have 2:1 V&H and the foot peg on the exhaust side is fitted a little higer than the one on the other side, Bracket for this is supplied with the Pipe.

Regards Kev

I have the Big Radius 2 into 1 on an '08 FXDSE, no problems , perfect fit, no modifications required. Don't have access to my dyno run printouts presently , to tell you exact gain, but it was a significant improvement.

Have the pipe on my 07 Springer, the passenger peg relocation kit was 22.00 bucks.  Pipe has a great sound and performance.

I had this pipe on my 2005 Fat Boy and as I recall there was a slight relocation of the right passenger foot peg required, but nothing drastic.  Very nice pipe, good sound and performance!
