2012 SG saddlebag speaker grilles
« on: March 06, 2019, 08:44:57 PM »

Hi there

Can anyone who has removed these for whatever reason tell me if the HD logo badge that sits in the middle of the grille is removable and replaceable? Or are they "welded" in some way to the grille?

Cheers

They are plastic and welded to grill similar to the way people use a wax seal to seal an envelope. You can try a soldering iron to gently melt the plastic away from the underside and then re attach them to a new surface with some quality silicone.
