You are aware that posting this could cause severe headaches, right? It will tend to precipitate comments such as "Boy, those were the days" , etc. , and could result in people sleeping on the couch.

OK...OK...I couldn't wait for the anniversary...i just read this to her....SHE'S NOT AMUSED !! Geez...come to think of it if she did agree with it we wouldn't have anything to argue about ha-ha ....I guess being a bachelor, not taking no crap and "playing" the field until I was 33 has me spoiled thinking things could actually return to something on this level....GOD I MISS THE WALTON'S !! For future reference, I'd like to pass along a little knowledge that I've picked up after 39 years with the same woman. There are two simple rules for male / female relationships that will make life much smoother.
RULE #1 : Women are by nature always smarter than men. In any disagreement or dispute, THE WOMAN IS ALWAYS RIGHT!
RULE #2 : On those occassions when you know absolutely, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that you are correct, REFER TO RULE #1.

When my wifes mad...I act the same as if I am getting a ticket from an Officer of the Law.
I look straight ahead and answer questions with simple but short yes or no...until I find out what I am being accused of.
