The food stamp program, part of the Department of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever.
Meanwhile, the Park Service, also part of the Department of Agriculture,asks us to "please not feed the animals" because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves.

National Parks Service is actually part of the Department of the Interior.  Interior must be more enlightened than Ag.  Either that or Interior hired out a multimillion dollar government study and came to the conclusion that since animals don't have pockets or purses they couldn't really utilize the food stamp program.  Thank god we don't have kangaroo and wallaby here....

Hmmm, wonder what would happen if CongressCritters and their staffs were disallowed pockets?

The only real difference is that animals can't vote. Let the park animals vote and it will be legal to feed them.
