My second thought after reading that was what kind of idiot would take the time to assemble the number of zip ties it would take to span the road, rather than just use fishing line or rope?  If they catch the guy, I hope they slip one of his zip ties around his scrotum and tie it to an overhead beam.

My only question is, what kind of a nimrod would do something like this.  I hope if they catch him they take him to the nearest biker bar to be tried by a "jury of his peers".   ;)

Seeing this thread from the main list, it reads "Zip Tie Alert...Fram."  So I'm thinking "What now?  Are the zip ties on new bikes failing where they go around the motorcycle frame?  Better go look."

As for the zip ties, I normally carry them on the road but failed to replenish my supply recently.  We could have used them in S.FL. while visiting Jorge, JC and Teri.  They certainly have their purpose, however not for these type events.
