I have 458 of 550, (Cleveland, Ohio) apparently production numbers have change. My bike arrived on the 16th of January, I wonder how many more will be in this series. Another guy received 426 of 550 received about the same time.

I'm still thinking there's a vendor somewhere that's in a TON of trouble right about now.

The real number is 900 I'm sure.

The fact that the motor company is taking so long tells me that they want to have ALL of the answers ready when they call you back.

My opinion that the correct number is 900 is based on the museum bike (000/900)and the first one (001/900) that we have been following the resale on here. Too many HD people have been involved with these bikes to allow a oversight of this magnitude to have gotten by.  


I'm betting you'll have to bring your bike in and have the medallon exchanged for the correct numbered one.

Thanks brother, but she is nice an tucked in her bubble while being on a charger!!  My Dyna did well for 18 months that way and fired up on the 1st hit of the starter.

Saw 430 of 550 today in Phoenix.  New, unsold, arrived a week ago. Salesman could not explain why it was out of 550 and not 900. It's a mystery. Are they curtailing supply to 550 units? Will I get a modified badge with 180/550? Has HD ever built less than the advertised production limit?
