I'm pretty sure it says it won't work with .22LR conversion. Thought about a Timney, but ended up with an ARGold drop in. I like it, but gotta get some flat black and paint the trigger black. Looks a little mismatched to me being gold colored.

IDK this is a quote from mfg webpage:

PLEASE NOTE:
Will NOT work with .22 AR's without extensive modification to the rifle. The SSAR-15 is NOT a mechanical device. It does not perform any automatic functions, and it does not increase a rifles rate of fire.
The SSAR-15 is a rifle stock, and the muscular application of force to create forward movement of the firearm defines the will of the shooter to discharge each individual round of ammunition. Each discharge requires a separate decision by the operator to move the firearm back to a firing condition.
With the SSAR-15 installed – the firearm is still dependent on an actively engaged operator at all times; if the operator ceases to apply sufficient effort to move the firearm back to a firing condition; the firearm will immediately cease operating. The SSAR-15 is a non-mechanical device and will work as advertised with any rifle that meets the use specifications and is set up correctly, therefore returns on this item are subject to a restocking fee and our actual shipping cost.
ATTENTION - The installation and/or use of a Slide Fire Solutions, Inc. product - is a binding agreement that the purchaser assumes all risks associated with the use of said products, and releases and holds harmless Noble Firearms Inc, Slide Fire Solutions, Inc., Military Gun Supply, their affiliates, successors, shareholders, employees and representatives, from and against any liability, disability, death or loss or damage to person or property, whether arising from negligence or otherwise.

However the video is promising because it states it does work with the rifle that has a trigger with a 3 lb pull. I think thats what they mean by extensive modification to the AR. A standard pull with a .22 doesn't provide enough kick to make it cycle repeatedly. And even with the lighter trigger it still says the rifle is a little finicky with bump fire.
Good for me though I already have all that crap, bad that if I order one I will have less ammo to buy and blow through it all that much quicker  ::)

Yes I carry. Question is, I am planning to travel through multiple states, travel up to Niagara Falls NY and cross into Canada. With Canada not allowing Pistols to be transported there, does anybody know of a firearms dealer that will let me leave my pistol with them and have them ship it to a firearms deal in my hometown?
THANKS

And what states are those.....".  As far as I'm concerned, if a state bans my weapon, that state does don't deserve a visit from me and nor a penny out of my pocket for a single sales tax....  :(

I am a licensed firewarm dealer(FFL) and also have a permit in VA for concealed carry.

I use this website when I travel. It has a very good can / cant when it comes to these types of questions. BEWARE the law is always changing.

With the obvious exception of Canada, even those states that do not honor your CCW permit do allow container transport. To be honored in every state without exception, you should have a cheap locked box like a NanoVault. Then just make sure the gun is unloaded, the box locked, and you should be fine with it locked in your Tourpak. Before you hit Canada, locate a convenient FFL and have him Fedex the locked box to another convenient state side FFL near where you re-enter the US and you should be fine.

As the others suggested, Handgunlaw.us is a great resource for reviewing the rules of every state along your route, to confirm the legalities.

Read it closely to avoid getting tripped up!

PS - I agree about skipping the states that do not honor, like the Socialist Republic of Illinois, in particular Chicago.

I just got in my KSG!!!!!!!!! :jack: :orange: :orange: :orange: :orange:

So how long did you wait for that? I just placed a direct order through them and was told 3-6 month wait list. It's the only way I'll get it at a decent price.     How close were you to MSRP?

I bought it thru a auction site , paid about 40% over MSRP. I already sold it thru an auction site  with enough profit to but 2.5 KSGs !!! Place an order in March for a new one at retail price, gets here next week. Net earning 1.5 KSG MSRP equivalent.
