The prices sure have gone nuts.  Large cap mags are sold out every where.

Seems the only business booming is the gun business.

I, We don't need large cap mags, I just want her to be able to knock down some swinging dick that may come through the front door. I live in a pretty nice piece of San Diego, but there have been break-in's reported. I want this place like one of those roach motels, you can check in.....but you can't check out.  Suzy certainly has the guts to use whatever she had been trained with, Oh, did I mention that my brother-in-law was a gunny in the USMC (I call him Dirty Hanky, Makes Mel Gibson from Lethal Weapon look like a pussy). Really, put his .45  in his hand and he'll shoot the asshole out of a flea at 100 yards.

Maybe the answer is to have "Dirty Hanky"  sleep over when you are out?  LOL

Been playing with different Inside the Waistband options and have had favorable results using crossbreed holsters. Very nice with glock 19, 17, and 34.  It's amazing what can be concealed comfortably with the right holster.

What about pant sizes and keeping your pants up?  ;D Any problems with those kind of holsters?

You do have to wear a belt! LOL Doesn't hurt to have it tight either! In my more exciting past I carried TWO glock 20's and 2-15 round mags in the small of the back almost daily for about 3 years. Nice 1 3/4" belt no issue...
I am 5'11" 225 and I can conceal a 2 full size four and a half inch glocks or 2 five inch 1911's with the right holster(s) and still have room to conceal 2-4 mags!
A Sweatshirt, polo shirt, hawaiian shirt tucked in or outside and you can't tell without being EXTREMELY observant.
Almost any man or woman can conceal a compact 9mm or a snub revolver without any problem or change in clothing and style.

A good 'thick' belt makes all the difference in holding the weight in place w/o sagging.  ;) spyder

Ha, I do wear a belt. I'm 6ft 240. Beer Belly got a little bigger since I've been unemployed, but thats about to change first of the year. Starting a new job! That will slow the calorie intake!! Right now it's hard enough to button my pants much less put a G22 in there!  ;D Hoping to buy a G36 this year for CC. That and lose about 20, I should be ready for summer!!  :2vrolijk_21:

Depending on the body I have found teaching friends that +2" on pant size is sometimes necessary. I have actually carried a glock 30 and a taurus 85 hammerless with nothing else but this little carry clip I ordered out of back of nra mag. no holster! Wouldn't want to run a confidance course carrying that way but for normal every day activity works great!

I prefer open carry, cross draw, with the 44's better than anything. Quick, comfy and you would be amazed at how polite the world is when you carry open... Shady looking charachters slink outta sight.... It is an education!

They do not make pants for women that will work with a waistband holster.  :'(. Trust me.., you are lucky if they have front pockets big enough to hold a quarter.  :-\.  Most of our pant's sit 4" below the waist, so by the time you attach your holster to your belt, your pistol is hanging to your knee's.   :o.  I struggle trying to find jeans that work with my holster/pistol.
