BigLew,

I carry a Kimber .45 Auto on Ol' Maybelle, but the Model leaves me.  Can't believe that......gettin' old, I guess!  Have to look when I get home.  It's the first Kimber I've ever owned.  I've always been a Colt fan, but I was pleasantly surprised when I first took the Kimber to the Gun Club.  Great Gun!  Later--HUBBARD

My new IWB VM2 holster came in too for my M&P 9c with Crimson Tracer.

I have four Milt Sparks IWB VM2 holsters.  I feel they are the best and most comfortable.  One is for a 1911, 5" barrel, one is for a 1911, 4" barrel, one for a 1911, 3" barrel and the newest is for my Sig Sauer P938 which I got for summer carry.

Mine goes with me everywhere.  Sig P-220 Elite.  Also this is a great IWB holster, can't even tell it's there!

Had the same holster (only right handed ;) ) for my old gun. Nice setup and adjustable a bunch of different ways.

You can't do better than a Milt Sparks, the only problem is the wait. I too have several.

I'm an Alien Gear fan myself. My daily carry is a Sig P938, it is less noticeable and more comfortable than my wallet with that holster.

Just bought this SD40 from a guy at work Wednesday. I couldn't pass up the deal but I think it's going to too bulky for conceal, carry. He sold me the gun, holster, three mags, 325 rounds of FMJ and 150 rounds of HP's for under $300:)

Lots of people carry. What standard as far as skills do you hold yourself to?

My opinion. (And I beat this time by far). If you are not able to deploy your firearm from concealed carry and fire two rounds (with three sight pictures, no double tap crap) into the toaracic cavity (chest) in LESS than 1.4 seconds. ---- don't even think of carrying a firearm. You are not properly trained and proficient.

Not intended to hur anyone's feelings but a firefight is serious stuff.

So if you can't perform this proficiently you're suggesting to go weaponless? Although one never knows, there's not much chance I'll ever engage in a firefight, but if anything ever did occur I think it's better to carry than just be an unarmed statistic... I trained at the Sig Sauer academy, but none of the sessions I attended had anything to do with what you described. And my feelings aren't hurt in the least.

I only decide for me. And I would not carry if I was not proficient to MY minimum standards.

Sig academy is fun. Been there a few times. Most people that carry are more likely to hit an innocent bystander than the perp.

I currently do better than my minimum standard by a lot, but I am training for a "Combat Master" test as well.

Everyone has to decide what they expect from themselves and how fun it would be to spend 20 years in Jail for shooting an innocent bystander.
