thanks, that one is kinda old, but 1911's are what I'm most familiar with and so I'm sticking with 'em if a pistol is all I can carry/conceal.  Much rather have a long gun if I had my 'druthers'.  har.  spyder

Lots of people carry. What standard as far as skills do you hold yourself to? 

My opinion. (And I beat this time by far). If you are not able to deploy your firearm from concealed carry and fire two rounds (with three sight pictures, no double tap crap) into the toaracic cavity (chest) in LESS than 1.4 seconds. ---- don't even think of carrying a firearm. You are not properly trained and proficient.

Not intended to hur anyone's feelings but a firefight is serious stuff.

Just so you can sleep better a night, I am very proficient with all 3 firearms and custom setups, thus why I opt for Black Hills Ammo with Barnes Bullets listed. I fly out twice per year to qualify on a course and field of their choosing. Don't know if I took this personal, since this post was released relatively soon after my submission, however, I thought I  would clear the air. again, Very Proficient, you need not worry about me and my H&K Custom setups.

You  being  from Detroit, should  no better than anyone.     I  don't  care  how Fast you draw!   If  someone has the drop on you, don't  even  reach.   Now the real training kicks in!             



         Listen to what the say,  no  fast movements,  wait for YOUR chance to make a move.  just my opinion and experience

You got that right!  You have to use you Spydie senses.  You best weapon is between your ears.  I believe the best way to win a gun fight is to avoid as best you can.  But if you have to fight, fight to survive!
