New Custom made holster for my Sig C3.  Black leather and Tergu Lizard.  Made by Brigade Gun Leather in Kansas.  He's a one man shop, so it took about 3 months to get it, but it was worth the wait!  Beautiful craftsmanship, and the gun fits like a glove.

Beautiful!!!

Taurus 738 TCP (380) This is a decent pocket pistol, 6 + 1 in the chamber and very concealable.

Good luck with that . I waited 4 months to get my hands on one. I bought it WITHOUT seen it , just looking at videos and reviews. But after having it in my hand, it was well worth it. Is 26" overall length you could conceal it under a trench coat and a good sling!!!

Really nice  :2vrolijk_21:  I love the two leather's  ;D

The guy's name is Troy Harp...he's also a gunsmith, and makes custom 1911's.   http://brigadegunleather.com/

Because he's a one man show, you've got to be patient with him, but I've not seen leather work like this before.  He goes the extra mile on the details, like burnishing the edges of everything, and applying his own mixture of "stuff" to the inside of the holster to make it very smooth and slick.  The work is impeccable.  Since this gun is my main one, I wanted it to have a nice place to live.

Put some Raasco Grips on the Colt/Walther 1911 22LR a couple of weeks ago, just for the heck of it.  They are slim grips, so had to change out the bushings and the screws, but no biggie.  Looks a little better than the plain black rubber grips that came on the gun.  I've put over 500 rounds thru this one...it's a fun gun to shoot, and affordable to do so.  Only a couple of failure to feeds, and that's likely due to the ammo.  Besides, it's not for self defense, but just for fun.

I carry a Walther PPK "bodyguard" .380 with laser sight, laster button on the grip. I live in the Tampa, FL area and the gun is so light and small that I carry it in the front pocket of my shorts (Yeah, i wear shortsall year round unless I am riding!). Went to the Lightning hockey game the other night and forgot to leave it in my car. I walked right through "security" and into the Tampa Times form with my bodyguard on my body!

As stated in previous posts...If you act like a fool while carrying, you will be treated like a fool. I never let ANYONE know I am carrying, the only time they will know if is their intentions are to do me harm.

As far as traveling, if you are flying and your destination is reciprocal with your CCW, they call your airline and let them know you are going to have a gun in your luggage. you will need the gun empty and in a gun box with an approved lock. All munitions need to be out of the magazine (Folks, it is only called a "clip" in the movies!) and in a container. Airlines differ in how they handle your luggage and I'd suggest you do not show up at check in without having informed the airlines previously.

I just read that there is a bill before the senate that will make all states reciprocal (aside from Iowa I think was the only state). The argument for those apposed is that you are licensed to drive a car in any state and your are held responsible for the laws of that state, why should carrying a gun be different? I agree completely, but it makes too much sense to pass through the Senate!

I heard a pretty good story a while ago...
An elderly man was driving though Texas and was pulled over. The trooper saw a shotgun in the back seat and asked "Do you have any other weapons in the car or on your person". the old man replied "I have a 9mm on my side, a .38 in the glove box and a rife in the trunk". The trooper then asked "What are you afraid of" to which the old man replied "NOTHING"!!!!!  ;D
