Bought all the components for the 2008 CVO springer tach so I can install on my 2009 CVO Springer. I need a wiring diagram for a 2008 so I know where to install the connector. The 2008 & 2009 main harnesses are different in that the 09 does not have the plug. Anyone with a shop manual should have this. Thank you, Bob New York

I have an 08 so I already have a tach, but someone on this board did an install on an 09 with an 08 tach. Scroll back a page or two in here and you should find it and hope it helps.

Thank you, found it. Great post. Does your tach wire go under where the spedo is mounted? I ordered the correct harness & plug also. Bob

Without the benefit of looking at the bike right now, from what I remember it is wire tied to the handlebar stut and disappears under the tank at some point.
