Put this on the scoot couple weeks ago
« on: October 01, 2009, 07:01:30 PM »

First I got the Floor board extensions, then I decided to put this 2" extension on for the Heel shifter.

Works well, I can now place my whole foot on the Floor board and be comfortable.

Just thought I would take a picture and post it.

Well that certainly is a long one, you're going to need some longer running boards now  ;D

You guys kill me, here's a picture w/ a 9 1/2 boot on the floorboard. This will give you a better perspective of how much room is available.

Yeah, but how does it look with a size 12 boot on it?   :huepfenlol2:

i use the heel shifter also. wear a 12 myself.

i saw this elsewhere and tried it. works for me.:nixweiss: an approx 3/4" long button head bolt with a piece of rubber hose. the floorboard extenders help too.

TN

edit: i used a shouldered bolt.

That's a great idea Phil. I can put my stock heel shift rod back on. I have size 13 boots. And no they did not come with oars. I was toying with having a piece fabricated to a custom length to match the SERG'S style heel shifter arm. And I still might do so.

Took your advice and put a Walter's Workshop extended shift lever on my heel shift. Great add on. Thanks for the heads up!
