You all didn't mention the type of bars you installed? Stock, Wild1's.  I notice my bars vibrate when I take on hand off.

On the SEEG I've got the Wild1 575 bars.  Many here do and they've been an almost universally favorable choice.  On the SERG just put on the Wild1 10" mini apes.  Really (really really) like both choices for the bikes.  Very comfortable for me and look great too.

Put 'em on with the one-piece clamp when I did the WO 575s.  Main difference I can tell is that the whole setup just seems more 'connected' and firm.  Can't really tell any difference vibration-wise but I sure like the way the bike feels and handles with this mod.

Wouldn't run any other type riser bushing than the Polys!

The description says it will reduce handlebar vibration.

That would be a plus for me - guess I'll be adding another item to the winter project.

Curious - does it tighten up the front end at all?

relating to the above question, have you ever gone down the road at a slow speed (under 20) and twisted the bars back and forth? Bit of an unnerving feeling, never felt it on a bike before, but I never had a dresser either before this one.

Feels like a combination of a big tire, fork movement, forks racking in the trees, handlebar bushings to the bars twisting a bit.

Ever experience this? Ever try it?

I love the set I put in a few weeks ago.   Its nice and snug(thanks to loc-tite)   Vibration is a lot less too. I'd recommend 'em for sure.

Yeah I've tried it Duane! Mine felt the same way...I think! It was wobbly loose, kinda like when you shake a pencil between your fingers really fast and the pencil looks rubbery even though it's not!

Yes, these are the risor bushings I used.  My bike already had the pullback touring handlebars when I got it and I added these bushings.  If I did it again, I would probably add the one piece handlebar clamp that was mentioned.
I am happy with the results.  When you take the cheap rubber ones out, the poly's are a quality piece.  Should be standard, but what else is new.
