SEEG Seat
« on: February 20, 2005, 06:23:23 PM »

Interested in the seat members are using for their SE Electraglides for touring, as well as daily riding, if different.  Messages specifying pros/cons, comfort vs looks, # miles logged on different models, comparisons, lessons learned, backrests, etc. appreciated.  Hoping this adds to the database on this site regarding this very important option for what is obviously the best motorcycle ever made.

Just bought the Road King pillow look. After coming off of an Ultra it's hard to step back on the long trips.

The red bike has the Corbin Dual Tour.  It's got the heater in it and I did red welt to make it look better on the bike.  A pair of the oval backrests done to match the seat.

Without regard to the appearance (which I really like), however, my butt likes it a lot.  And that's the important thing.

For now mine will be the stock seat until I can afford to get the Corbin Dual Touring Seat. I had the corbin on my last bike and really liked it [smiley=bigok.gif]

I got the Mustang Touring Seat,

Does this seat work with the stock rider backrest? It looks like the stock one in the pic.

Its the taller backrest with the small back pad to fit it. The stock one did not work.

I am using the comfort stitch for a Road King also. My wife likes it much better. I really like the looks of the stock seat but the comfort stitch is great for the long rides.

I purchased the comfort stitch rider backrest because the stock one was too short.

Anybody tried this one with the backrest yet for long distance touring?  Kinda has the good looks of the stock seat with maybe more touring comfort?
