Earlier Duane had written that he was selling because it didn't allow the tour pak to be placed on the bike and because the stealth (useless) luggage rack we have doesn't fit with the seat either.  That it's funny lookin' had nothin' to do with it dammit :huepfenlol2: !

Too true man, too true.  Can remember other little old lady type vehicles that got oil change actually because of time rather than mileage too .

I "upgraded" my 1998 Goad Glide's seat to a Corbin.  I feel that my present bike's seat is more comfortable than the Corbin was.  The Corbin was too hard for my taste.  My longest ride so far on this bike has only been about an hour and a half, so this is only my initial impression.

We have a young lady in one of our HOG chapters who has so strategically placed raised and pointed studs into her seat.   :o Oh My!

She never rides farther than a couple of hours.  ;) She IS always smiling though.  :D

I am sorry to hear that you are not as pleased with the mile after mile comfort and support that I get from my Corbin seat, but am so happy that the stock seat works for you.  :huepfenjump3:

Back when all HD's were solid mounted, she wouldn't have had to add the studs as that's when the term 'Milwaukee Vibrator' was affectionately given to our scooters by some.  har!  spyder

 >:( :confused5:  CVOwner:  I agree with you on the seat.  I have the 105th Anniversary FLHTCUSE3 and I feel like I am sitting on a stadium seat.  Can't take much longer than about 45 minutes and have to get off and get circulation back in my cheeks.  I have ordered a custom seat from: www.hartcoseats.com.  I was busted up pretty bad four years ago when hit from the rear by a drunk driver doing over 70MPH.  I was doing 40 and it was night on a two lane road.  I was the only one of three bike accidents that night that survived.  Anyhow the seat should arrive any day now.  Will now be able to make the ride to Milwaukee in August in style.  You might want to give them a call and talk to Mark - he owns the joint.  Does great work.   :2vrolijk_21:  :drink:

Hi ..... I was checking out you 05 FLHTCSE2 and wondered what the passenger backrest on the tour pack part number was ?  Also was it a big deal installing the lights in the tour pak wiring wise ?  I want to do the same to my 04 SEEG.
You don't happen to have the wiring part numbers I could get from you ?

Thanks

Joel

52435-05 for the backrest.  That is complete with the mounting bracketry.

When you say "lights in the tour pak" if you mean the interior lights to see inside the pak the best thing to use is accessory kit 54331-04.  That kit is an LED replacement for the commonly defective stock tour pak interior light and adds lights on the bottom of the tour pak on each side that shine down in to saddlebags.  The installation isn't a difficult one.

If instead you're speaking to the spoiler with LED brake light that is commonly added on the tour paks that part number varies with color.
