Don't know guys, just don't know how safe that action would be.  At least where the bikes go I realized awhile back I'm actually rather predictable.  Tweak, wrench, change and adjust to my tastes on and off for the first couple of years.  Then wear it all out the next couple of years.  Then start over again.

So without even really thinking about I seem to be on schedule again.  Couple years in.  Running out of ideas.  Now maybe just ride it some more  [smiley=nixweiss.gif] .

On top of that pattern I really can't even think of anything else I'd want to mess with on it.  PJ and I did the radio thing about the same time and he went on and did the CB and other things with it too.  But I don't want to talk to anyone when I'm on the bike. So that doesn't interest me.  I don't ride nearly hard enough to ever consider breaking the engine down further to do anything stronger there.

So aside from the occasion little doo-dad and maintenance this may really finish the red bike off.  I'm still toying around with the idea of a little art in the middle of the fairing.  But that's not really wrenching on it......

Why stop at Orange jugs??? If/when I ever do something else it's going to be the [highlight]Zippers 113 kit which will mean the cases will be split (Timken bearing) at which time may as well go with a six speed, and since I don't have a chrome starter. [/highlight]Well you see where I'm going with this, do you think that's going to be to much Orange? [smiley=nixweiss.gif] :P [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Yup!!! to all that. Don't know how your starter is Gary but mine likes to embarrass me at many places like under fuel stop awnings so it's nice and loud when it misses, or at way crowded bike events, showing one and all that my starter has an issue.

Job well done Don :o [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Thanks Mark.  And I do sooo blame this little trek on you.  Well actually you and Dale down in Texas.  Saw your diamond cut engine cooling modification there in CC.  Had seen them before but never looked at closely.  Then crawled on the ground to look at your motor mount and as I raised up; there it was.  Beauty-ness on twin jugs.  It was love at first sparkle.

But I knew I was still ok as, even as great as it looked, I didn't want to screw with the down-time of sending pieces back and forth and waiting for parts to come back.  Then Dale offers up his heads and cylinders for so little that they were almost free by the time the other parts he included with them got sold.  So, like an idiot, I told Dale "SOLD" about 15 seconds before several other idiots who were apparently so addled that they wanted to do the same thing.

And so it began.  All from one dirty belly laying on the ground after two beers in a parking garage in Cripple Creek, Colorado with you and Ernie and a few others of us all enjoying a cool evening and each other's company.  Don't feel too bad about the color though.  This one will end up with more color on the outside (at least for now) but yours will still have more cubic inches on the inside.

Gary, if you keep going you might as well just chrome a jack-o-lantern and stick a couple of axles through its ass and nose!
