Chip,

That's why they make bolt cutters!  Either that, or you're going to have to reach into your wallet again because of Don.

This thread made me laugh til my eyes leaked.  You guys are too much fun.  So, in all seriousness and without any teasing whatsoever: I got a cover I got a cover I got a cover I got a cover I got a cover I got a cover I got a big old beautiful Screamin Eagle Road Glide bird festooned cover and you don't have one!!!

Now, about taking the cover with me to Georgia.  I don't even know which bike I'm taking with me to Georgia :huepfenlol2: !

Also, I don't think this thing is intended to be an outdoor all weather cover.  It's a canvas type material outside and soft inside.  Am sure it would soak through.  It's also heavier and thicker than things like the Exigent covers.  It folds up to take about twice the space that the SEEG cover does when it's folded up.

Assume this to be a nice thick indoor protective cover.  Certainly thick enough to protect against light droppage and dings.  That means, however, that ye olde SERG cover won't be traveling to any site that puts it within reach of anyone's greedy fingers.  So, to conclude our lecture for today; I got a cover I got a cover I got a cover I got a cover I got a cover I got a cover I got a big old beautiful Screamin Eagle Road Glide bird festooned cover and you don't have one!!!

I can work it like this if your agreeable.
You send me the cover and you keep his SERG.

Chip, you need to wait and send the tickers Ernie later.  He can't steal the bike and ride it home now because the tranny is opened up.  Will let you know a good time (am I helpful or what?).

Your just so ahead of me Don.
The plan was to wait till the shocks are done, the brakes are done, Mr. Golden has had his chance to tune it and hopefully the HawgWired is installed. Ernie may be from the left coast but it's not his first rodeo.

Nothing nearly so dramatic.  Did a $20 eBay score of one of those EZ pull clutch kits.  The kit should have been here Monday.  So I tore it the tiny bit apart that's necessary Sunday night to save a little time when I got the parts in hand.

They "forgot" to ship the parts.  Finally left yesterday and should be here tomorrow.

The clutch feels a little "notchy" on mine.  Anyone else? :nixweiss:
