Larger Rear Tire
« on: May 18, 2008, 09:42:57 PM »

I'm sure it's been discussed here before, but after reading thru previous post I didn't see it.

>>What's the largerst rear tire that'll fit on the FLTRSEI2 w/o modifications?<<

Welcome aboard Ben.  Damn that's a tall windshield.  Another beautiful SERG joins the fray.  Join in, introduce yourself, bring the beer (it's required after your first post).

You bet TwoLaneRider..  Yep, it the Clearview 21 inch.  Fits me pretty good though being 6.2.

Live down about 30 mi south of Dallas.  Work in Dallas though.  Have two boys who ride too, one has a RG Custom the other a Tour Glide.  Usually hang out w/ locals.  Mostly ride Ark, all of Tx and long distance when I get a chance.

Bob's right.  No mention of the beer.

Y'know what though Bob.  When you've big open spaces like he just described to ride through you can almost understand forgetting the beverages.

Oh, you're gonna fit right in here.  By the way, I got no frakking idea how large of a back tire will fit without modification.  But hang on for a bit.  Someone surely will.

Otis??  Where the hell are you man?

It's a good thing Scot wasn't at York.  Sure as hell someone would have rode home on the wrong bike.

Sorry Ben, don't worry though.  Someone will still get to the tire size question.  If not I'll find it and let you know.
