OK here we go!! I sold my 07 Black/Orange SE Ultra for the 09 SE Road Glide in the Silver/Titanium color. I deal with a great dealer and I have the first Silver unit coming in. I understand the Orange/Black is the first color produced what are you guys hearing from your dealers about the delivery dates on the Silver RG. Just starting to get my parts list together and I'm starting to question my sanity to start all of this over! But its fun isn't it! Thanks

mine is supposed to be late September...that's takin' into account the delivery delays...2 dealers in my area should get theirs first, I'm on the call list so I'll report w/photos as soon as ones in

PMG1- I got a silver coming, Deposit paid to santa cruz hd . was over the hill on friday they say glide will ship 9/12 and I plan on picking it up after the nor-cal trip 9/19 ---AK

Thanks lets all try and stay in touch. I have a few trips planned as well. Myrtle Beach in early October and Daytona in late October (last trips before winter) and the hotels require first and last nights paid up front so until I get a VIN number, No WAY will I plan a trip. Thanks

The dealerships I called in Georgia are not even getting a silver SERG in through the second phase. They're not sure if they're getting one period.

I have a deposit on a silver SERG and the ship date was 8/13. Due to the delay on ALL 09 production bikes ( I saw the memo!) it could be up to 3 weeks. My sales manager called the factory rep and he said there is only a 7-10 day delay currently. My date has not been updated yet but then again it does not have a shipped status either. Saturday the website for dealers inventory status was down for updates. So I will find out tomorrow (hopefully!)

I also have a shopping list and am trying to get them to order at least the chopped tour pack to get an edge on the painted parts delay thing but its like pulling teeth. Either way, I should have it by the end of the month.....

While at Hertiage HD in Concord NH, I saw the Silver SERG. It was purchased by Jeff Mertens, HD VP of Sales that he will ride this week to kickoff the Ride Home. They are leaving the 20th.
It's a very nice looking bike. What I thought special was that the enginer matched the silver in the paint job. I've attached info from the website.

i was told my silver serg date is 9/26, we'll see. maybe my other painted parts will be available then.

ordered lowers/boxes, chopped tour pak with spoiler, rear crash guards comfort profile, and xm.

I was just told that this past weekend San Diego Harley had a silver SERG at their 105th kickoff party.

Bummer, I did not get to see it. But now we know where all the damn silver one's are!!!! This one was brought in by one of the corporate guys.

If you go the HD website, look at the ultras, colors, the stardust is shown on the t/p and rear bag.

I have seen alot more of the orange/black thought that was the hot color. How great is the Silver color really? Is it metalic - has anyone seen it in the sun? Is it really a better combination than the O/B one? Any thoughts are appreciated. I'm new to the forum but have been a RG fan for along time. Have just been waiting for the new Screamin Eagle verson and now that it is here - what color? Those of you that like the silver - why so?

I saw the orange and black SERG this evening.....looks better in real life than any photos I've seen! Then I swung a deal on the silver/titanium SERG. Too me, the silver is going to look awesome with all the chrome on the bike, and the engine cases are going to blend in nicely with the titanium. BUT, I have yet to see one in real life as well, yet I doubt that I will be dissapointed.

If anyone here has seen this color combo, please give us your $0.02.

the orange\black are the Harley colors & traditionally more sought after.. but silver is very classy looking... my salesman seems to think the o\b is the best as far as resale. to me its personal taste.. o/b = sporty silver = classy..

The Silver/Blue SE Ultra is the only other bike to have the Stardust silver. The above pic I like much better than the ones in the CVO catalog. I missed my chance to see one in person this past weekend at a dealers 105th sendoff. Wife said she would divorce me if I got the O/B and I'm allergic to yellow due to another HOG member custom painting his ultra piss yellow metalflake!
When I first came upon the silver one I fell in love. As customryder said...it's classy vs flashy. Only 3000 will be made so they will probably split the colors and make a run of 1000 each.

Now for the good news!!!! My sales manager finally got ahold of someone at MoCo that would release info and the delay was caused by a vendor. Mine will be here the first week of Sept so the 3 week delay holds. Can't wait

I believe the "Stardust Silver" is the same color used last year on the '08 SEUC - Canyon Copper & Stardust Silver. I had this bike and the silver was amazing in the sunlight!! I always thought it would be a great primary color instead of just an accent color. I believe it will be a real looker !

I pretty much agree. The orange is fantastic looking and highly sought after. The silver is classy.

I am not much for the Yellow, and I really like the orange. However, I love the Silver. So I have a deposit on the silver, I just wish I did not have to wait until Feb to get it.

If you click on the picture it will enlarge it even more and you can really see how the stardust silver looks in the sun. What a GREAT looking bike - wouldn't you agree??

You look like one happy guy. Is it really as great as it looks? Looks like they have changed out the windshield already. How were the handle bars, did they have enough pullback so you can rest comfortably in the seat. How was it??

Handlebars felt really nice. It was a HD Staff's ride. It also seems like the 110 runs alot smoother than the wife's 07 110. It is much better than you can imagine.

Rode one at Sturgis. They handle unbelievably well. The mods on the frame have really helped. The handle bars need to be changed out. They need more pullback to make it comfortable while crusin with a rider backrest. The silver color is amazing! These pics don't do it justice. It sparkles like nothing I have ever seen before. It has an 8 stage paint process to get the metalflake in it. That's why the chopped tour pack is $1100 and that's why they won't have a King tour pack---cost too much to paint. I hope they change their mind on that one. Guess I'll have to try to match the paint and paint a King tour pack to match. These are a show stopper!

Insane bike....Those pics are great yet i bet in person it's even better...!! We were in Daytona today and Bruce's sales staff said they have a Silver one due end of September...but one big problem...they've added 16k over MSRP on the bike...

....He must've thought I asked about the Ultra...that's crazy going that much over msrp..

perhaps that's the price of being exclusive...even though they're known for bizarre mark ups...

I'm not sure sales guy gave me the good info on that bike....Ademacs in Jax has one and they're seeling it, if it's still there, for 1k over msrp. I don't see how Daytona can ask that price.

Question, is that a cover on the rear fender with the lights built in, or a real fender. I haven't seen one in person yet, looks like the tail lights are molded into the fender, not bolted to it.

Took delivery of my Silver 09 on Friday.....so far love it except the paint orange peel.....the tailight part is like the filler on a Street glide (add on part with the tailights integrated to it).
