I never tell the wife about new parts.  Unless it's something I know she will notice.  Then I just get her something new for her bike, and all is good.

OK Today I installed the Vance & Hines Power duals to go with my Boom Cans (apparently now made by BUB)

They worked awesome with the factory pipes no remap required!!

Here is a link to a video of them without the CAT

If you select my other videos there is one with these slip ons and the factory pipes.

I noticed the boom cans come either with a rolled slant cut or just a straight cut. I like the look of the rolled slant cut better. Asmith has the ones I like. Where did you get them?

Wrap some burgers in foil , shove them in the pipes and have lunch
when you get there.

Actually to my knowledge they do not. Drag Specialties used to make them but stopped in the 90's

I had a hard time finding them my dealer ordered them from http://www.milwaukeebagger.com and their literature was in the box they shipped in. However when you open the package the install instructions are from "BUB". Perhaps they took over when Drag stopped?

I am under the impression those are sample pictures he took in his travels as he hadn't purchased any at the time he started the post.

I too like the finished rolled look if someone still made them???

Very awesome sound , it seems to me that the V&H powerduals sound is deeper with a better rumble than with the factory pipe , great .
The best sound i have heard , really top of the top , reeeespect  :2vrolijk_21:
Did you made a dyno-tuning at the bike or is it still stock ?

Nothing changed tuning wise except adding the Exhaust. I do plan to add cams and the SEST in the future. Will Dyno after the cams are installed. :coolblue:

A couple things I'd like ask.

Have you thought about getting some HiTemp flat black paint and paint the inside of the Boom Can tips?  I think that would make them kind of just look big and dark, you wouldn't see the inside at all.

Don't get me wrong, they look great and do fill up the holes a lot better than the 4" stock mufflers, or any of the slipons for that matter.  But I see that they are not centered in the opening.  That's a problem with the setup as MOCO designed it.  There's no side to side adjustment and with a slant cut you cannot rotate the mufflers inward to move the mufflers to the center.

Still a great looking bike.

Sorry, didn't see the OTHER Boom Can muffler thread below before I offer the flat black paint on the inside.  Sorry for the redundancy.   :(  :(  :(

No biggie!

The offset is a MOCO design flaw even the factory mufflers offset to the outside, the brackets are welded in the wrong locations for this bike.

Apparently to much trouble to build it right?

Anyway I am making my own brackets that will allow lateral adjustment to locate them in the center of the openings properly

Best looking setup I have seen. I am going to order a set of Boom Cans and the VH Power Duals. I have been sitting on the fence on this setup but after seeing and hearing it I am sold.

Nice work.

That is what I had to do to get my exhaust centered.
