Hypercharger for FAT BOB CVO '09
« on: March 11, 2010, 11:26:05 AM »

Thinking of fitting a hypercharger, with the butterflys, to my yellow 09 fatbob? any ideas?
Had a heavy breather on my old nightster, so dont want that again.

Let me know your thoughts.

Any particular functional reason you've decided against the Heavy Breather?
I've heard nothing but good about them, but then I've heard good about the Kuryakyn product too.
Both have very good flow characteristics based on the little research I've personally done.

Hyperchargers look good (to some) and thats about it really. Just for show. Bit of a wank (IMO)

Hypercharger's were cool (to some) many years ago, with the top fuel dragster appearance and operational butterfly's that are more show than go.  If you're looking for the latest in cool, it isn't the Hypercharger.  If your looking for the ultimate in performance, it isn't the Hypercharger.  If you're looking for more maintenance on your air cleaner, that would be the Hypercharger.

It actualy does add... however for the 110 unit, you should get the stinger trap door option with it... as for being cool, its a mater of taste.

Personal tastes. I do like the newer Pro R Hypercharger, but I also think they all look quite dated.

FYI I'm going with the MoFlow unit. Got too excited by putting new pipes on yesterday and went riding so MoFlow will be this weekends project.
