Very Nice. :2vrolijk_21:
-
i saw one in person a few weeks ago and agree, it didn't look bad, much better than on the HD website.
-
If you guys say so...
-
I've seen 2 in person and the paint work is nice, but to me, is not CVO worthy (colors).. If I owned one, would get tired of quickly. For 36K, I want something that will jump out/stick with you. If you have 50 bikes in a crowd, it will just blend in with the rest. Dealers will sit on this color the longest IMO..

Really
No disrespect meant to anyone who has/likes the color. Each year there is always a color that is the least popular and I believe this to be the one this year for the SEUC.. There were 2 in Ohio that set for several weeks while the orange were presold.
NV-Hope you get your new one orange soon. Keep on Breece as the orange have come and gone at the central Ohio dealers.

I had seen the 2010 CVO Ultra in Blue & Titanium Dust and I must say , that's the one I would buy if I was in the market to get one. I guess that's what makes the world go around. if it makes the owner happy then that's all that matters. :2vrolijk_21:

Amen to that.

I agree about the flashier colors being more popular. I chose this color scheme because A) I like blue. B) It was the next SEUC on the incoming inventory and C) after having two bikes in the very flashy Candy Cobalt scheme, I think I'd like to be a little less obvious in parking lots. Those screamingly bright colors invite questions from non-riding fans who want to know what it is, how much it cost, how fast does it go, etc. I didn't mind answering them at first, but after a while, you just want to be able to park it without being hassled. (I went through the same thing with my 2000 Audi TT coupe. It was one of the first in the area and people actually were hanging out of car windows as they passed wanting to know what it was.) Oh, and although it's been 35 years since I graduated from high school, blue and gray were our school colors.

I own the '09 CVO in Ruby Red, and still do, and bought the '10 in blue. I saw the other two '10 colors, the red and amber, and they didn't do it for me to buy another one after owning the ruby red that I love, less than a year. But that's just me. When I saw the blue I had to buy it. I guess this being my 5th CVO in the last two years, i'm not looking for flashy bright colors to make any loud statements to anyone. This is just a great color and paint skeme, and doesn't draw the type of crowd I like to avoid. I love this bike and all the mods I've added. After a nice wash and wax, and seeing the colors in the sun, it's right up there as one of the favorite Harleys I've ever owned.
This picture is in southern Vermont on hwy 9 near dusk.

Just stopped at Bruce's Destination Daytona and they have all three colors lined up in a row (at $5K over sticker). I'm very happy with my choice in picking the Blue one without seeing the other two first. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes and not one of the 2010's holds a candle to my old 09 Ruby. All six of my friends on this trip agreed that the Blue was the best color combination for 2010. No disrespect, everyone has their own tastes; pick the one you like and ride the heck out of it.

This is the best picture I have seen of the blue. Looks much better than any other picture I have seen or sitting in a showroom. :2vrolijk_21:

Looking Good
-
My buddy Jay's new ride
-
But Ruby Red is faster!!!
-
these bikes are like chicks
1 red/slate = rocker chick
2 amber/citrus = beauty queen high maintenance
3 blue/pewter = girl next door
I love all three but I would be happiest with the girl next door. She fits in anywhere and looks good doing it.

Amen to that. Interestingly enough, I have gone from the burnt amber as #1 to the blue. Because
1. I've always liked blue
2. It strikes me more as a biker-guy kind of color
3. It GREW on me; that's a very good sign
4. I PERSONALLY think darker color tones contrast better with chrome
5. The beautiful burnt amber knocked me off my feet its so attractive but I really think I would grow tired of it quick

I'm waiting on my Blue one should be here at the end of Jan or first part of Feb,and
I really can't wait to get it,Even tho the riding season is on hold for now around here

I think all the colors for the 2009 and 2010 are awesome. They always look better in person then in any pictures or brochures. The most important thing is to own one. And like some of the other guys said to each his own. There are a lot of guys out there who would love to own the bikes we do. Who cares what color as long as you are riding. CAHDBIKER (Silver 09)

Thats for sure

It was my second choice, and depending on what day it is, sometimes it's my first choice............. chit, they are all nice to me.
-
Looks OK to me but I guess i just like blue.....

Great picture. In the picture. it looks like you have a chrome cover over your swingarm pivot behind the passenger footboard. If so I was wondering where you purchased it. It looks pretty cool. Thanks CAHDBIKER

I bought the Blue and Titanium Dust because I think it was the best color, and it helps that I like blue
-
The 2010 Blue Did it for me. The engine color really compliments the colores Congrats on your new scoot.

I thought the same when looking.

hey Bob , I was thinking about you today.. Took a ride over to Ft. Lauderdale Hd and they had your bike on the floor. Could not believe that they would have taken MSRP for it. Shows us all how bad the economy really is when they dont ask 6k over. Was out and about today,, the weather was great.

That is the one I did buy. I like it.

I went from a 2010 SESG (Capt. Morgan Spiced Rum) to the 2010 SEUC Riptide/Titanium. It may not be as flashy as the paint job on the SG, but the 3D flames and the blue really pop in the sun. I think this one is VERY CVO worthy!

Bumping this because I hate to see the best 2010 color ignored. More Blue pics :bananarock:

I'm in the process of installing extended bags, rear SG fender and fascia. Should get the parts back from the painter in a couple of weeks. I will post pictures when I get everything back together.

Looks nice scream glad your enjoying it.
I would absolutely be proud to own any of the three. For me though the Blue just feels "right"
Everytime I see any of the three in person I want it :)
CVO's of any model turn me into a kid in a candy store :bananarock:

..nice color. Enjoy the ride.

I just traded in my 08 SEUC Pearl White and Silver(Kasper) for the 2010 Ripetide Blue and Titanium Mist SEUC. That color scheme just blew me away and as others have stated I love blue and especially that color blue. I will post pictures when I pick it up this coming Monday. I got 49,000 miles out of my 08 and I am looking forward to putting new miles on this 2010.(DESERTBEAR) 8)

Congrats on your choice it is a very good combination !
-
Got her home and have 100 miles on her and I have to say what a huge difference the new frame is on the 10 vs the 08. I will miss Kasper but bring on the BLUZZ!! I have to also admit putting on the CFR pipes really unleashed the sound from the stock pipes. At 1000 miles the HB intake goes on with the race tuner and Bluzz get dyno'd. I will post pictures this weekend. I was really pleased with Tucson Harley that they let me swap out all my part's from Kasper to the new bike before I traded in Kasper.

Can't wait to see your new RIPTANIUM. Really would like to see a "riders view" of the fairing since you'll be getting the camara out anyway.
congrats again :pepper:
